Co-Hosted Follow-Up Friday – May 3, 2013
Welcome to the latest edition of co-hosted Follow-up Friday.
Once again, I have a new co-hostess. Should you pop over to her blog at any given point in time you’ll see a story or a photo of Louise, Sofie Bear, Nine, Noel or Baby Stella. They could be taking a trip to the docks or watching flowers grow. Sometimes, they’re complaining because mom hurt her knee and can’t take them for their walkies. She posts every day (sometimes more than once) whatever the topic, there’s no doubt she loves her zoo. (Her words not mine.)
Please help me welcome Lorian from Dogdaz!
Many of you thought you’d be confused by the trail markers and I have to tell you truthfully, even though the trails all seem to intersect with one another, it took me the LONGEST time to figure it out.
We’d be walking along and Hubby would ask where we were and I wouldn’t know. He’d say, but you walk these trails every day!
Eventually you figure them out. 🙂
No, we did not get more snow! This is an old photo from our pre-Delilah days. One of my favorite walking trails along with one of my favorite photos of Punkin. I love the sunlight vs shadow in this photo.
You are all very welcome for not showing a video. I’m sure you realize the chicken head doesn’t look like it just came off the chicken, it’s actually kind of spooky. But the story was meant for amusement and some of you were amused and some were skeeved out. I can assure you I was skeeved out the first couple of times but after that it didn’t bother me, until the chicken was moving it’s mouth.
Let me try and put this in perspective, a box of 40 pounds of neck with each neck weighing an ounce or less equates to about 640 necks give or take. I don’t find a head in every box so it’s not all that bad, it’s just a bit shocking the first couple of times. 🙂
Did you love this idea for a blog hop? I sure did!
2 Brown Dawgs said, “I wish shelters did more outreach to pair senior dogs with senior people who may want a dog but due to their age may outlive any dog they take in.”
I like this idea. A lot! I’ve already decided when the time comes for me to add another dog, I’ll be adding a black senior.
Donna said, “How sad….I don’t know how anyone can drop their dog at a shelter…especially a senior who spent so many years with them…” I agree Donna, but I think the soldier being deployed felt he had no choice.
All Things Collies said, “I wish there was a rescue set up to take in and foster these dogs when their owners are deployed.”
Then Frankie and Ernie said, “I THINK that there is a program that will find FOSTERS for those who are deployed. Does anybuddy remember hearing about that a couple of years back???”
And yes, I’ve heard of programs that will find fosters for soldiers on deployment, I can’t however put my finger on the name at the moment. I do think however that many times our soldiers have no idea of the programs that are available to them.
Well most of you took the nice, polite PG caption I had for this photo.
Here are some of my favorites:
Jackie, “I thought this was gonna suck, but it’s actually kinda nice!”
Pamela, “Hello Baby, you know what I like…” and then, “Am I the only one who thinks that if Sampson could talk he’d sound like the Big Bopper?” You know, I never really thought of what Sampson would sound like. Delilah on the other hand…..
Jessica, “You need to clean the bugs out of that light cover lady”
Mine is totally disgusting, not family oriented and will probably offend some of you, so if you want to avoid that skip down to the end. I’m rating it R for Raunchy.
For those of you brave enough to handle my dirty humor, here it is
So THAT’s a blow job, it’s not bad but I don’t think I’ll be bragging about it to my buddies.
I told you it was Raunchy.
This is the Co-hosted Follow-up Friday Blog hop, hosted by Dogdaz and Heart Like a Dog.
