When we first got Delilah, she had a funny habit. Well, who am I kidding? Most of her habits ARE funny.
Delilah had a habit of sitting directly in front of you when you were eating, and making the dog equivalent of smacking her lips. Except in Delilah in sounded like, “Thuwp, thuwp, thuwp.”
My daughter and I would laugh and laugh when she did it.
Yesterday, I did all my running in the morning, and by the time I got home, I was starving. I grabbed some sliced chicken and some salami, and settled down on the bed, to check my mail.
Delilah took a seat on the floor next to the bed, hoping for a treat. After a few minutes Sampson came loping into the bedroom, climbed up on the bed and started licking my salami bag!
Dude’s channeling his inner Delilah.
“Yo, Dude, that’s my salami!”
We got a good chuckle out of that one!
What did your pet do to make you laugh this week?

Cute Sampy boy ❤
He is a smart boy! Not afraid to go after what he wants.
When salami is in the room, all bets are off! Lick it, slurp it, beg for it, chomp it, sniff it. #whateverittakes
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Sometimes ya just need some yum!
Smart boy! He knows what he wants, and he’s gonna do what he’s gotta do to get it. 🤣
Human food must be so much more interesting than dog food. Who can blame them??
Hee hee. The dude’s got good taste.
Delilah can’t always be the one to have all the fun! 🙂
If we eat anywhere that’s not the dining room table, all bets are off. Luke won’t beg at the table (well, not much, except when Dad has been teaching him bad habits), but if we sit anywhere else he has to be reminded to lie down and wait patiently! He’s pretty good about it, and that always makes me smile.
