Yesterday was St. Patrick’s Day, and I apologize, but my day was long, and I meant to get a post ready early, before everyone came over, but I didn’t.
By the time dinner was done and cleaned up, I was about done. I started a post, and hit something that accidentally deleted it, and I just gave up.
So for your Sunday Smile today, I’m sharing St. P Day pictures from a couple of years ago.
And because Delilah’s the ‘mouthy’ one, and Sampson is not, here you go.
Are you Irish? Do you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? Do you eat Corned Beef and Cabbage? Inquiring minds want to know.
Meagan & Merlin says
I’m not irish. I don’t celebrate st.patricks day, but i love corned beef. We usually have it with mashed potatoes and creamy garlic prawns sauce.
Emma says
Nope, not Irish here and Mom doesn’t care much for corned beef or cabbage, so not much going on besides us dressing up for some pics and eating some Merrick Kiss Me I’m Irish Stew. Sounds like you enjoyed the day.

Actually we are English and always wear orange.
Shadow and Ducky's Mom says
Nope, no Irish blood in this girl…German on both sides, as far back as we can trace…that said, however, hubby and I did enjoy corned beef and cabbage last year. Our calendar this year didn’t allow for it.
Love the pix! And love D-Dog and Sampson!! And their mama, my friend!! πππ€ππΆπΎπΎπΆ

I think I said Happy St. Patrick’s day to 2 people, does that count as celebrating?
Cupcake says
No. No. And no. But Mom does dress me up and YES – we all look pretty lame in our St. Patrick’s Day green. It’s unavoidable, but the treats make it all worthwhile.
Love and licks,
Cupcake

The extent of my celebrating was drinking a Flying Dog Lucky SOB Irish Red Ale. Other than that, the day passed without any fanfare. These pictures are adorable. Hope you had a nice celebration before the deleted post!

I love their opposite personalities!
The answer is “no” to all of your questions. My Dad’s birthday was on St. Patrick’s Day, and he somehow thought that made him an honorary Irishman or something, so he always celebrated it like he was (he was actually French Canadian – LOL).
I do like corned beef and cabbage but the hubby doesn’t (and he has Irish in him!), so I never make it. π

I had an Irish grandmother but I never met her. She died when my dad was fairly young. I have never even seen a picture!
Went out to a Mexican restaurant with friends! LOL!

We went to a small meat processor/general store Near our cabin and bought one of their corned beefs. It was yummy. I also made braised cabbage because I am not fond of boiled. I am going to make that again when I get fresh cabbage.
