A lot of times these dogs make me laugh or smile, and it happens so fast I don’t have the chance to snap a photo or video.
Like yesterday, when Delilah was dancing backwards for her breakfast, and she bounced near the sink and the pizza pan bounced out of the dish drainer.
No photo for that.
Or the time Delilah ‘sailed’ over a 3 1/2 foot gate that had bar stools in front of it.
No photo for that.
But the time Sampson was lying next to the water bowl and his ear was in the bowl?
Photographic evidence right there.
And boy did we laugh.
Seriously, dog is lying next to the water bowl with is ear in the bowl. How does he not feel that?
What funny things did your dog do that made you laugh this week?
You make me laugh, the sweet, funny, loving things my dogs do that make me laugh or smile.

My one ear is always wet as I seem to tip my head and it falls into everything. I might not notice either, but it sure does look amusing in that photo.

That cracked me up. What a boy!

That is too funny – It’s times like that you wish you could just ask him what he’s thinking, and feeling!
At our house what made me laugh this week? I go right to Max (the ‘doodle). He’s the class clown and just his demeanor and how he prances around is always good for a grin! 🙂
Enjoy your Sunday!!
Shadow and Ducky's Mom says
Aw, Sampson, you’re such a handsome boy! What were you so focused on? Or did it just feel good to have that ear in your water bowl?
What cracks us up most is when Ducky gets a case of “the zoomies” and then flops down on one of the dog beds and tips over as she falls asleep. No evidence because it happens so fast, but it’s a trip to watch. 😃

GAH! Sampson! I’m with your mom on this one. How do you NOT feel that!!??!!??

My dogs run out of the room when they see a camera.

Oh, Sampson you are such a nut! Oh, Luke does the dancing and bouncing for his meals too, that might be the only time he could make a big crash and not run away scared!
Monika & Sam says
Could Sampson be any cuter? And D-Dog…what can you say about the resident entertainer in chief?
Meagan & Merlin says
Lol 🙂 One time when i was in the back yard and i stepped on a small sharp piece of a bone fragment and i pulled it out (no blood). You’d expect that to hurt wouldn’t you? It did a little, but as i put my foot down, Merlin drops a heavy marrowbone on my other foot and that hurt like a mofo. Looking back on that makes me lol.

I’ve seen Ellie with her tail in a water bowl – and also in her wet food. She flings that tail around a lot – so no surprise that it’d get into anything sitting around. Bear used to dump his toys in his water bowl and then bat them out. Well, until he got tired or tired of his paw getting wet and left his mousie or other toy floating in there 🙂

Yep, Honey has been known to take her ear for a swim too.
BTW, did you ever consider wearing a GoPro camera on your head all the time? Then you might capture more of those funny moments.
