We welcomed fall into New England just about two weeks ago. The days have been magnificent. Low to mid 70’s, with nights into the 50’s. Perfect for sleeping with windows open and enjoying the amazing fresh air. Then, suddenly in the last couple of days, the heat and humidity have shot back up. I despise this for two reasons. 1) I’m hot, and I don’t like being hot. 2) The humidity brings out the bugs. UGH, I hate bugs. And I hate being pestered by bugs when I’m hot!
Thankfully, I’ve had these super cool blog posts to entertain me while I stayed cool and bug free inside. Let me know what you think.
It’s Time for a Sister Dolly Sister Saturday by Brian at Brian’s Home – I giggled at this one (I may have actually snorted.) I loved how she changed topics and pretended she’d already been talking about the subject, then convinced you she had been!
Fly Free Sweet Zoe by Kevin at Animal Shelter Volunteer Life – It’s never easy when we lose one of our fur babies, and we never get enough time with them. This was a wonderful tribute to a beloved pet.
Like a Pirate. Arrr! by Erin at Erin the Princess Cat – In honor of talk like a pirate day, Erin came up with a swashbuckling tail…er tale.

It’s been a crazy fall weather-wise, that’s for sure! We do’n’t know if it’s summer or fall from one day to the next, though the shortening days give a strong clue!
Off to read the posts I missed and some new ones, glad to finally be joining in again!

We’ve had the same kind of crazy weather here, too. It’s been perfect this weekend and then it’s supposed to be in the 80s again next week. It’s been so hectic around here that I missed all of these posts, so I’m looking forward to going back and catching up!

You could wrap up those hot days and send them to me, we don’t get many cold days so I would just keep them ready. Don’t send the humidity though. Love the cat posts.

The Boy doesn’t understand, but I hate bugs flying all around in my business too. I’m not grossed out or scared … they just annoy the heck out of me. I can’t see a mosquito without starting to itch all over … and I act possessed. I can’t rest until I know that sucker’s not going to buzz again.

Very sad about Zoe. Erin really went all out with her pirate posts.
