When I was at BlogPaws in Myrtle Beach back in May, the big thing was taking selfies with Leroy from My Brown Newfies. (#SelfieswithLeroy on the Instagram). Taking selfies with Leroy is pretty simple, 1) apparently Leroy doesn’t mind having his picture taken and 2) Leroy doesn’t move around a lot.
Unlike a certain brown dog at my house, who apparently didn’t get the memo regarding Labradors and their love of having their photos taken.
I like my hair in this photo….and I’d like it better if Delilah would look at the camera!
The hair is okay in the this one, but Delilah still will not look at the camera.
I don’t like my hair and the damn dog still will not look at the camera!
At this point, I gave up. Of course, I laughed and laughed, because she just won’t let me get a good photo!

It’s all about the fun, right? Delilah thinks so anyway! 🙂

Hey, you two both look terrific!

Selfies with you humans are not easy. We usually have a lot of nose in ours and only a small amount of Mom shows up. She is happy with that.

It’s better than mine…all of my dogs hide from cameras.

Getting selfies with Callie was never easy, either, which is why I treasure the (very) few I do have. Shadow and Ducky have to be in the right mood, but are both still easier than their older sister ever was. 😅

I think they are all great. I feel your pain, my dogs didn’t get that memo either.

Look at it from her perspective. She’s how old in human years? I am guessing you won’t be so hot to have your picture taken at that age either. 😉

Delilah is no doubt far too self-assured to “have” to look at a camera. My dogs do the same thing and it’s ok. Some of those candid pics are far better than a pose looking straight at the camera. They look far better than me anyway. LOL
P.S. The hair looked terrific! 😇

You look adorable in your selfies. But if you want Delilah to look at the camera, you’d probably need to stick a meatball on top of your phone.
Of course then we’d probably just get a selfie of her tonsils. 🙂

Rye is not very good at the selfie thing, either. Barley loves them, but trying to get all three of us in one is an adventure. I think these are all adorable!
