How’s things been going? Here in the Northeast, Mother Nature is still in her menopausal stage, where she can’t make up her mind as to whether we are having spring or summer. Currently, we are in spring mode but wait a minute, that can change.
But, enough about the weather, let’s roll with my picks for this week’s showcase.
Spotlight: Spencer the Goldendoodle at Myrtle Beach, by Beth at Daily Dog Tag – These photos were taken by Beth’s sister, Alice. I did not have the pleasure of meeting Spencer at Myrtle Beach but these photos make me wish I had. They also make me wish I’d brought my dogs. One of my favorite photos (and memory) is when we went to Emerald Isle, NC with Sampson.
Catnip Nation – A Documentary About Feral Cats and the People Who Take Care of Them, by Lola the Rescued Cat – The magnitude of the Feral Cat population in this country simply astounds me. How can so many people feel that animals are disposable, and simply drop one off somewhere to fend for themselves? Thank Dog (CAT?) there are so many people out there working tirelessly on behalf of these cats. Hopefully, this new documentary will help bring this societal issue into the forefront, and these cats and their wonderful caregivers can get some much needed support.
They Bring Me Joy, by Kathleen at All Things Collie – This post was simple, and heartfelt, and the pictures accompanying it were so beautiful. It brought tears to my eyes, because I feel the same way about my dogs.
About the Pet Blogger Showcase
Twice a month, On the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, you have the chance to link up one of your blog posts to the linky party link-up. Then visit 3 other blogs that joined the party and leave a meaningful comment. Feel free to share with your followers on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, etc. Then each week the hosts will feature their favorite 3 posts from the previous Linky Party on the new party post.
Pet Blogger Showcase Rules

(We love reading about other topics and niches, but posts that are not pet related will be deleted this includes any posts that don’t mention pets even if they are on a pet blog or if the post could pertain to pets.)
Spread the Love! Leave a quality comment(more than just a few words) on at least 3 other posts from the linky party. Tell them why you love their post, encourage them, share on social media.
Check back for the next linky party to see if you are featured on one of the hosts’ blogs.
*Note: By adding your post to the linky party you are giving the hosts permission to use an image from your post if your post will be a featured post on their blog to help encourage people to click through to your post. The image may be used individually or as a collage.
That’s it! No need to RSVP. No need to bring a covered dish. No need to add the linky to your post. No need to include a button. Just come join the party and PAWTY ON!

One of my favorite parts of our Showcase is that we all pick different blogs to feature – without any coordination at all!

Weather has gone from 100 a couple days to the 50s here. Sun has been replaced with rain. It is crazy! Hope you have a good weekend.

I did have the pleasure of meeting Spencer, but I almost missed it, because he was such a good and quiet dog! I didn’t even know he was on the other side of the table I was at at first. Alice takes such wonderful photographs!

I can’t wait to check out Catnip Nation. The attitude we have towards cats boggles the mind. It’s just so weird that you see a dog on the streets and say ‘oh they need help,’ but for cats we walk on by and think of it as normal (for the most part). I guess because they can hunt so well we assume they’ll be fine and fend for themselves.

Thank you so much for choosing our post! I think all pet bloggers share my deep love for our companions, which is what drives us to blog.
