Here in the states, tax day is upon us. Anyone else dread doing their taxes? I have a tendency to procrastinate on doing them. I finally had to promise myself a treat in order to bribe myself to do them. AND I told Hubby, next year, I want to pay someone to do them. 🙂
So besides taxes, here at Casa de Stone, I’ve just wrapped up a full week of work at my new job. Phew, I’m exhausted, I’ve been on shorter hours for so long, I’ve forgotten how tiring it can be.
Thankfully, I’ve had some amazing posts to help my mind relax a bit. Posts like:
Cooking for the Crew, by Jan at Wag ‘N Woof Pets – Jan started cooking for her dogs when her Golden, Sheba was fighting cancer. When you have a dog with health issues, getting the right nutrients for them can sometimes be very challenging. Many people choose to make their pet’s food themselves. This post will give you some ideas and resources on how to get started.
Must Have Pet Tag Connector by Rebecca at Doggie Wagging Care –Â When we were active in training classes for the dogs, we knew a woman who had a collar for her dog for every holiday and every season. All told, I think she had over 30 collars! Now, if you’re changing your dog’s collar on the average of every 12 days or so, well, you can imagine the tags become a hassle. A pet tag connector is a must have, and Doggie Wagging Care has found a great one!
The Caterbury Bunny Auditions-Part 1 by Ellen Pilch at 15 and Meowing.com – Because…you guys…it’s a cat with bunny ears!

That dog tag thing does look cool! I hardly ever change the girls’ collars because I’m too lazy to change their tags, too–if I do change them, I usually wait until we’ll see their grandpa because he’s much better at getting them off than I am. That little connector would make the process much easier!
Hope you’re settling into your new routine and enjoying the new job so far!

I always make the Dadz change the tags on the collars. We had tried a different kind of connector, but didn’t like it. I’ll have to check this one out (I think I had trouble getting the link to work on that post so never got to it).
Thanks for including our post! It’s really rewarding to watch the dogs enjoy something you made yourself for them.

In Canada our taxes are due on the 30th. We have an accountant do them (as with my company it is toooooooo complicated). She always leaves it until the last minute and that stresses me out. I think next year we will look for a new accountant!

I went to school for accounting and passed the CPA exam and the ONE thing I learned more than anything is that taxes suck! The few research projects we had looking into the code were the most frustrating thing I’ve ever done. One section refers to another which refers to another … and after following the trail for 10 or 15 references, you can’t even find a concrete definition! I HATE taxes. Congrats on the new job!
