Woof. My grandmother had a saying, “March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb.” I don’t know where you are on that spectrum, but March came in like a lion here, so I’m praying it goes out like a lamb.
Here in the northeast, we had some sirius snowfall at the end of February. In CT, we got close to 18 inches of snow on a Thursday, and three days later, we got another 8 inches.
Read on to see how another of our blogging friends made out.
Winter Weather Alert – Snowmageddon! by Jan Keefe at Wag ‘N Woof Pets – Jan didn’t quite as much snow as we did, but her dogs sure enjoyed it. I think maybe Luke was looking for Cricket, but didn’t realize she was next to him. 😉 Check out Jan’s post, to see what Luke and Cricket were really looking for.
Guide Dogs for the Blind: A Campus Visit by Christy Caplan at My Life With Dogs – wow, in CT we Fidelco Guide dogs, but as far as I know, they don’t have a campus like this. Christy was able to check out the campus in person. Hop on over to see what she discovered.
Easy Like Sunday Selfie – Emily by Animal Shelter Volunteer – Look at this pretty, six-year-old girl looking for a home. She reminds me so much of my previous cat, Smokie. Are you in the northeast and looking for a furever friend? Emily is looking for her forever home. Animal Shelter Life has all the deets over on her blog.
Happy reading friends, we’ll be back tomorrow with our Sunday smile.

We only can wish we were buried in feet of snow. This winter was a disaster, not much snow, lots of ice, and the final straw, the broken ankle. Very depressing. We already have our paws crossed for a short summer and a long next winter with lots of cold and snow.

Thanks for selecting us, and good one about Luke looking for Cricket! I think if we’d gotten as much snow as you did, we really might have lost her out there! 🙂

So THAT’S where our snow went to?! It’s been in the 60’s & 70’s here and I’ve had to hand water to make sure the new trees survived their first pitiful winter. Another nice installment, Jodi. Hope you have more springlike weather this week and a super weekend to kick it all off!

Mother nature can’t make up her mind around here! One day it’s almost 80 and the next, the high is 40. We hope you all have a great weekend!

Thank you for highlighting the Guide Dogs story! I had so much fun visiting the campus and getting to know some of the dogs in training. It was a very cool campus.
