Hey guys. Thanks for joining me today for another Pet Blogger Showcase. There’s a lot going on in my little corner of the globe, and I’m working on getting back to a blogging schedule, (really, I am!) It’s just taken me a little longer to recover from some personal stuff, and I recently signed up for an online course on Constitutional Law, SO blogging time is limited. I’m hoping to come up with a weekly or bi-weekly post, and I hope to do that soon!
In the meantime, let’s look at some cute posts from the past showcase, okay?
Reggie is learning to fetch! by Clare at Sugar and Spikes Blog. Honestly, have you ever seen anything cuter than a cat fetching a toy? One of my daughters has a cat that does this, and I could literally throw his little ball for him, ALL. DAY. LONG.
Help Make 2017 The Year These Dogs Go Home by Beth at the Daily Dog Tag – Anyone who knows me, knows I have a soft spot for a rescue dog. There are so many good dogs, sitting in shelters through no fault of their own. I love that Beth is helping to find them homes.
Playful Sister Gracie on Sister Saturday by Brian at Brian’s Home – It seems Gracie has to share the blog with some other felines in her house. Not to mention the new occupants that are hiding behind the bedroom door. Plus she’s got that cute little Nip Nanner toy that she’s showing off in the photo.
That’s it for me…have a special post you want to get some extra love on?

When I go through periods of what you describe, I always tell myself to have compassion for myself – like I would have for anyone else going through the same thing. But then those judgments and shoulds and self-expectations creep in again. It’s hard to tell what kills the creativity and motivation more … the problems themselves or the consequences of those judgments and shoulds and self-expectations. I also try to tell myself that I’ll go back when the time is right … but it’s so hard to trust that the time with actually come and I try to dictate a schedule instead. Sometimes though, we just need time. And there will be a point when you’re ready and won’t feel like you have to do it.

Sorry I haven’t joined in the showcase the last couple times, but I will get back into it soon, I enjoy it. That Gracie on Brian’s Home is my favorite cat over there – she reminds me so much of our late cat Bones; right down to always having to struggle with her weight. In spite of her name, Bones was always chubby. 🙂
I look forward to hearing a little bit more from you soon. Constitutional Law, now that sounds hard! Good luck!
