You make me smile, (or laugh), the sweet, funny, loving things my dogs do on a daily basis, that brings a smile to my face, and a laugh to my lips.
Sampson, when we are walking in the woods, and I look at you and say, “If you want to go up the hill, it’s okay,” and then you turn and head up the hill…
You make me smile.
Lately, Sampson has been heading to the park on our walks. Most days, he heads to the field. It’s like he knows that the trails are a bit challenging to him. But I’ve got him on a new protocol and he seems to be able to handle a bit longer walk. While I know he will have days that he can’t manage it, for now, I’m going to celebrate the good days.
Cupcake says
Tough guy! Oh yeah! Meet the challenges and raise the bar, buddy. Way to go.
Love and licks,
Cupcake

Mom always let Katie choose where she wanted to walk to as she got older. Sometimes she would choose a path that was too much for her and Mom had to carry her home, but they were both happy because it was what Katie wanted to do. It’s good he gets to choose his walk too.

Sweet Sampson knows what he wants. And the two of you are so connected and he is so tuned in that he probably knows what you’re going to say before you do. The good days are definitely worth celebrating!
Lori says
Pretty puppy… love you both!
Jan K says
We’re glad he’s having those better days when he can do a bit more! Is this a recent photo – you don’t have any snow at all there?
Jodi Stone says
Yes, I actually took the photo on Saturday. We’ve had such unseasonable weather, that the snow is almost gone as soon as we get it. 🙁
Monika & Sam says
Sweet Sampson. I love how they just know what and where to go.
Lee and Phod says
So glad he is able to do some more walking.
Callie, Shadow, and Ducky's Mom says
Love your boy!!! Enjoy and celebrate those benefits of the new protocol! I’m so very happy for BOTH of you!!
Lauranne says
Mity used to do that and it was the cutest thing! You do right focusing on the positives, forget about all the other stuff – that’s tomorrow’s problem!
How Sam Sees It says
Always celebrate the good days! Power on, big guy!
