You make me laugh, (or smile.) The sweet, funny, loving things my dogs do, that make me laugh or smile on a daily basis.
Delilah, the way you come in after a walk, and wait like a princess to have your feet wiped…
You make me laugh.
Delilah typically waits to be toweled off, after she comes inside from walking in the rain or snow. The other day, we had wet roads, and when we came inside, she sat right in front of me, waiting to have her feet wiped.
Silly dog!
Do your dogs like having their feet wiped after coming isode from a wet road?
Emma says
I try to avoid being cleaned up, but Mom always gets me. Bailie and Madison are better about letting Mom wipe paws and their back furs.

Good girl, D. Moms usually like clean floors. I can’t say I LIKE having my feet wiped (with a damp paper towel – rain or shine – 4 times a day – 365 days a year), but I am in the habit of standing there till it’s done. So I guess I don’t hate it.
Love and licks,
Cupcake

Mine do not wait. We work on that all the time.
Callie, Shadow, and Ducky's Mom says
Oh Delilah, what a good girl!! I wish Shadow and Ducky would do that! The good thing is that I can close the door that separates the room downstairs from the rest of the house and keep the wet, dirty paw prints contained.

Hey! We are doing a give-away this week that would come in very handy for you!

I don’t remember. It’s been so long since it has rained.

What a good girl, Delilah! I typically have to chase mine around the house for that. 🙂
Monika & Sam says
This is the best time of year for me since I stop feeling guilty about any muddy paw prints on the tile. Sam acts like the torture can’t stop soon enough. Then he bounces away happily once it’s done. Elsa doesn’t seem to mind so much and actually revealed in being toweled off. She must be high from the CBD oil. BOL

My parents’ cat Benny not expects to be paper toweled off when he comes in from the rain. He a very independent type of fellow, except when it comes to water.
Beth says
Barley loves to be toweled off after walking in the rain, but she hates having her feet wiped off, so I’m usually lucky if I can get 3 out of 4 before she runs away. Rye has much better things to do than sit and wait to be wiped off.
Liam says
Your dog Delilah sure is a unique one, in a very good (clean) way I think – I have never heard of a dog waiting to be wiped after she got wet in the rain. Most dogs will just shake off the water and scurry about once they get inside the house. Mine do not wait for me to cover myself or stay a few feet away when they shake water off their fur! So, there you have it, I also take a mini-bath when my dog gets soaked from the rain.

Bless her, Mity used to love being dried he would drop and roll, tucking himself into the blanket so you could do his head. He didn’t like you doing the rest of him but he was more than happy for you to dry his little head!
