You make me smile (or laugh), the sweet, funny, loving things my dogs do on a daily basis, that brings a smile to my face, or a laugh to my lips.
Delilah, when you lie next to me in bed, and put your head on my arm, and wrap your paw around my wrist…
You make me smile.
Typically, Delilah is not a snuggler. She will lie next to me in bed and sometimes she will even lie on or against me while I pet her. But it’s a very rare occasion when she lies on me and falls asleep.
This happened the other night and it just melted my heart to look down and see that sweet, chocolate face, and of course, it made me smile.
Do you have sleepy snugglers (and please tell me why spell check insists on changing snugglers to smugglers…) or independents?
Jennifer says
My Shih Tzu is quite a snuggler. Initially. I wasn’t too comfortable with sharing a bed with my dog. Eventually, I got used to it!
Callie, Shadow, and Ducky's Mom says
Callie was my snuggler, but sometimes Shadow will jump up on the bed and stay with me for a while. She’s my Velcro dog, and that’s enough to make me smile. Ducky will snuggle in our laps while we’re in our recliners, but doesn’t stay for long.

The cats are snugglers on their own terms, but Bailie and I are serious snugglers. One thing Mom loves about our breed is we are super affectionate and snuggly. Even in the middle of a walk sometimes we stop and just want to hug for a few moments. We are glad Delilah has at least a moment here and there to snuggle with you.

Jeffie was my snuggler. Rosie sometimes sleeps touching me in some way, but I can’t call it snuggling. Rudy is definitely not a snuggler, but he is a hugger outside of bed 🙂

Did you say the word, “Get your bony legs offa me, weirdo!”? Oh. Maybe that’s just Mom….
Love and licks,
Cupcake

Luke is our chief snuggler. Cricket likes to be up against us, but normally down by our legs only. Sheba snuggles the least, but that just makes it extra special when she does it, just like with Delilah. ♥

Oh yes, I’ve got bigtime snugglers…well at least that’s one way of putting it. I think it’s more like “bed hogs” but however way you describe it, it makes me smile. I wouldn’t change one inch of it, even if half my inches are hanging off the bed and pillow?…haha guess again-pillows are strictly reserved for one certain boy who shall remain nameless! 😇

I love when two or three of my dogs use various parts of my body as a pillow. I love the warmth that pours into me from the contact. Mine are all snugglers, but they are not smugglers. Damn spell check

Dogs are an adorable creature. They can sense your happiness, sadness, emptyness. They always standby you and shower love upon you.

So cute – wish she was closer by so I could have a cuddle

Always enjoying the cuddle =)

Aww I love it when Laika gets snuggly like that. In the summer she’s pretty independent (must be the heat), but lately she’s been getting back to her normal snuggly ways and I love it.

Delilah needed extra snuggles.
