Thank you for joining me today for the Pet Blogger Showcase.
Today I’ll be sharing three of MY favorite posts from the previous Pet Blogger party which took place on September 3rd.
Here in no uncertain order, I present my favorite posts from the last Showcase.
How to Tell if Your Dog is in Pain by Elaine at Chasing Dog Tales
Most of you know that Sampson’s been struggling with some leg and muscle injuries as well as arthritis. The thing that really upsets me, is I noticed things were changing, but I didn’t realize the ‘symptoms’ were telling me he was in pain. Knowing what’s ‘normal’ and not normal can be really helpful.
The Most Beautiful Barf by Beth at Travels with Barley
Having a maniacal muncher myself, as soon as I saw the title of this one, I knew she’d gotten into something. If you have one of THOSE dogs, the one who eats anything/everything. I’m pretty sure you can relate to this one.
A Coat of a Different Color by Kathleen at All Things Collie.
Before I started following Kathleen’s blog, I thought collies only came in the Lassie ‘style’. You know, the long-haired kind. I had no idea there were different types of coats, and NOW she tells me there are different colors, and man, what a variety of colors! I love learning about different breeds of dogs and this post about the coat colors, what was SO interesting.
So there you have it, my favorites from the last showcase. What were yours?

Love those two Collies. They look adorable!

Those were all great posts, but I especially loved the collie one as well. I also didn’t know about all the different colors or that they come short haired either!

It’s my first time joining in! They are all great posts! And it is so nice to meet some “new” (to me) folks, too!
Monika & Sam says
There’s a smooth coated collie in our ‘hood named Bugz. She’s pretty cool and Sam loves her. Loved the pic with the two of them on the rock! I love the idea of seeing new folks around Blogville; always fun to see what others are doing and how they cope with the ‘special’ fur-kids.
Beth says
Barley has a lookalike in one of the parks we visit who is a smooth collie! That was a good post! Thanks for giving our post some love, too–it was such typical Barley mischief.
All Things Collie says
Thank you for choosing our post! We are so touched to be included, and by all the kind comments!

Thanks for letting me be a part of the pet blogger party.
Your picks this week were pretty interesting. Those collies were gorgeous! And I didn’t realize that one of my dogs has a lot of those symptoms of a dog in pain. And I had to see why barf was beautiful!
Elaine says
Aw, thanks so much for including my post as one of your favorites! This was my first time in the Showcase, and I really enjoyed reading all the posts and getting to know a few wonderful, new bloggers.
This is my favorite thing about blogging…learning so many news things from my fellow bloggers!

Love the collies! Now I have to get caught-up with my reading and commenting!

These are great tips and must be known to all fur parents out there! It pays to really focus on your pup’s behaviour since they can’t “talk” but if you really know your pup, you’ll know something’s amiss.

You made some good choices.
