You make me smile (or laugh), the sweet, funny, loving things my dogs do on a daily basis, that brings a smile to my face, or a laugh to my lips.
Sampson, when you pass out on my leg…
You make me smile.
Typically in the warmer months, Sampson is not much for lying on/against someone. So when he fell asleep on my leg the other night, even though I KNEW I would end up with a cramp or a pain, I just left him there. Honestly, I was prepared to sleep sitting up, but by the time I was ready to shut the light off he had moved.
Would you sleep in an uncomfortable position for your pet?

My mom always puts up with discomfort if we furs are comfy. It’s what moms do.
I miss the days when Callie and Shadow tried to take over the bed. Shadow used to get too hot – even in the winter – and would get back down on the floor next to the bed; but Callie usually spent the whole night next to my feet. God, how I miss that girl!
Would I??? I DO – every night of my life! And I wouldn’t have it any other way….
I know of no other way to sleep. But I try to stake out my position first.
Hailey is my leg sleeper and I will lie there until the pain comes!
We do that! Hahahahaha!!
Yes indeed you, I do! Lol!
Oh hell yes and do so most of the time though I’m not the one actually sleeping, instead I’m just waiting for the inevitable change of position by Sam. 😉
I meant: yes indeedy I do! Stupid autocorrect didn’t like indeedy!
I try to, but sometimes I just can’t stand it so try to gently nudge them away!
Do you feel guilty when you move, too? I think it’s sweet when Laika falls asleep on some part of me, but I always feel bad when I have to get up to pee or something.
What a sweetheart, I love it when they rest their head on me.
Poppy will now come up and press right against my legs and fall asleep whilst I am watching TV. I swear she becomes more dog life every day!
Awe he found a comfy spot.
