You make me smile (or laugh), the sweet, funny, loving things my dogs do on a daily basis that brings a smile to my face, or a laugh to my lips.
Sampson, the way you stop and sniff the plants, even the ones that are higher up off the ground….
You make me smile.
It makes me wonder just what he’s sniffing. 🙂
Do your pups sniff plants at nose level? What do you think they are smelling?
Cupcake says
Of course! Nose-level is friend-level. That’s where my friends brushed against the shrubs when they walked by. Good job, S. Very thorough.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Taryn says
LOL! Nose-level for a corgi is still where the big dogs peed!
Emma says
Hmmm…maybe a horse or cow was there lifting a leg before you passed by? We hounds are more ground sniffers unless we are working on our nose work.
Sand Spring Chesapeakes says
Gambler would have to rub his back up and down that type of shrub. Have a great Sunday.
Callie, Shadow, and Ducky's Mom says
Awww, maybe he’s just enjoying the plant’s own aroma like we humans do.
Kim - Life at Golden Pines says
I wonder what they’re smelling too, but I most wonder what the heck they’re rolling in too! 🙂
Its been awhile since I stopped by – I keep up with your blog via e-mail, but I hope you’re doing great, and have had an enjoyable Memorial Day weekend!
Jan K says
I love when they do that, although ours tend to have their noses to the ground more than at plant level!
Julie says
I never know what Cocoa might be sniffing. I am always worried that she is going to stick her nose in the weeds and come out with something!!
Monika & Sam says
Oh those are penthouse pee-mails as opposed to garden level ones. ღ

Of course mine stop and sniff. Could be anything. Maybe a bird perched there a one time.
