You make me smile (or laugh), the sweet, funny, loving things my dogs do a daily basis, that brings a smile to my face or a laugh to my lips.
Sampson, the way you bark and posture when you hear another dog barking, even though you have NO idea where that dog is….
You make me laugh.
It happened yesterday on our morning walk. I heard the dog barking but couldn’t figure out where it was, but that didn’t stop Sampson. He started barking in response and his fur got all up on his butt, and I had all I could do to keep him from jumping around.
Do your dogs get all excited at the idea of another dog?
Cupcake says
Excited is one way of putting it. Terrified is probably closer to the truth. I am a quiet girl, so when I hear a dog barking inside a fence or even inside a house, I am mostly just afraid. Mom forces me to walk past anyway, but I’m not happy about the idea.
Love and licks,
Cupcake

Luke gets excited about dogs on TV! LOL
Hailey and Zaphod says
Ours will bark even if they don’t know where the dog is. It happens a lot with the TV.
Monika & Sam says
Aww, sweet Sampson. That was a rhetorical question, right? π Sam turns into wiggly Slinky dog at the mere thought of encountering another dog and even better if they are accompanied by one of his favorite uprights.

I think it’s funny when dogs in cars passing by bark at us and three of mine have to respond. Are they passing along neighborhood gossip?

Cocoa is excited if she is at the dog park but when we are walking she has been super protective so that is always fun!!

My guys are usually not to phased by other dogs unless of course they invade their space.

Lila doesn’t seem to be too bothered by other dogs barking. It’s the rabbits and deer that roam through our yard that get her attention!

Usually they have to see them to take notice.
