You make me smile (or laugh), the sweet, funny, loving things my dogs do on a daily basis, that brings a smile to my face, or a laugh to my lips.

Usually she does this if she hears something outside, she’ll go tearing out the door and up the stairs and stand there looking for the culprit.

I can only scour the view from the window. And I think I do a pretty good job of it. Wait. What? I think I hear the grass growing! And some humans half a block away minding their own business! Lemme at ’em.

We do perimeter searches every time we go out. We don’t want to be surprised by anything! It’s serious business.
Rudy hurries to the corner of the deck to survey his kingdom for intruders, then makes a huge loop to get rid of the birds before he begins a perimeter patrol. Rosie? She hurries off the deck to pee, then watches Rudy. Guess she trusts her brother to take care of things 🙂
My guys are four tiny sentries guarding the estate. We haven’t had any invaders so it must be effective,

It is important to check for intruders!
That’s just about every morning at our house. We get the dogs outside, and both Cricket and Luke are running (racing) to the fence with their noses in the air!
Cocoa is very protective of her house and she runs to the door or window all the time. The cats are her favorite to bark at and they deserve it because they taunt her all the time.
She’s so pretty! My crew does that a lot. 🙂
Mity and BD both used to do this. However my favourite story is when a particularly annoying cat got his comeuppance. This cat would mock Mity, cause he was little when he would go out and bark the cat would get out of harms way but then just look at him as he barked his little head off. In the end one of us would have to go and move the cat along.
However, one time it was BD and not Mity that got out to bark at said cat. You should have seen the look on the cats face when a large ginger dog appeared, not the small grey one it was expecting. Karma is a … large ginger dog
She is a good watch dog, just like Storm. 🙂
That would be Maia at my house and she talks (tells off) the neighbor dog all the time 😉
