You make me laugh (or smile), the sweet, funny, loving things my dogs do that make me laugh, or smile on a daily basis.
Sampson and Delilah, the way you can both turn to look at something while I’m trying to take a picture, yet can’t manage to both look at the camera at the same time…
You make me laugh.
Do you have trouble getting your pet(s) to look at the camera? I can rarely get them both looking at me at the same time.
Callie, Shadow, and Ducky's Mom says
With Callie and Shadow it was fairly easy; but adding Ducky to the mix made it nearly impossible, and taking Callie out of the mix didn’t make it any easier. So, guess who the instigator is. 🐶

GAH! That’s hilarious! Synchronized staring. Cupcake stares at me all day, so if I pick up a camera, she’s already got a head start….
Emma says
We can do it, but rather than both looking the same direction, we prefer to have one look right and one look left. It really drives the mom mad!
Jan K says
Too funny! Oh yeah, it’s rare to get that shot where they all look at the camera at once; unless maybe I’m holding a treat. But even then one of them will get impatient and jump up or move or something!
Hailey and Zaphod says
Have the same problem here. Love the look away pic!
jan says
It’s a study in synchronized avoiding the camera. It’s an Olympic event.
Sand spring chesaoekes says
Of course not that would be to easy. Nice picture non the less
Monika says
That’s a rhetorical question, right? Whenever I even try to focus a camera on him, Sam seems to cast a longing look over his shoulder in the opposite direction. Stupid dog. 😉
Taryn says
Wilson totally “gets” the super-model thing (although going deaf makes it a tad harder), but Jimmy hates looking into the big scary eye of the camera. Sometimes HE. JUST. WON’T. LOOK. That’s why I have so many more nice photos of Wilson.

I can get Cocoa’s picture if she is exhausted. Or if she is sleeping. Or if I surprise her but once she sees I am trying to take pictures she will NOT look at the camera. So I have to be quick!!
Misty Shores Chesapeakes says
Not so much looking at me but getting the ears up, getting them to stay…I get them all set up turn to walk away and the minute I stoop down to take the photo one them inevitably starts to walk toward me. Then I have one, Cheyenne, the minute the camera comes out she is bouncing around barking, she loves her picture taken and she wants the whole neighborhood to know it 😉
Dachshund Nola says
Ha, the only dog I can consistently get to look at the camera is Nola!
Elaine says
Haha! It’s hard enough to get Haley to cooperate sometimes, I can’t imagine getting two or more pups to get excited during photo shoots. I think I like this photo better though because it makes you wonder what’s happening off to the side.
Jen says
I have way more pictures of Laika looking away than at me – I think she’s actually a little annoyed when I bring out the camera because she knows it means we’re stopping whatever we’re doing so I can stand around just pointing that weird object at her.
Yeah I don’t have a smart phone so I have one of those old fashioned cameras that weighs more than a pound I try to lug around.

Story of my life. Or someone blinks. They’re still cute!!
2 Brown Dawgs says
I think we can all relate to that.
