You make me smile (or laugh), the sweet, funny, loving things my dogs do on a daily basis that brings a smile to my face, or a laugh to my lips.
Delilah, the way you fearlessly and unashamedly shove your head in a bag to scout for food…
You make me smile.
This was taken Thanksgiving weekend at my sister’s house. The bag is the one I use when I travel to hold all those ‘essential’ items I HAVE to have at my fingertips at all times. I think she smelled some dog treats or something.
Will your dog stick their head anywhere in the hopes of food?

Head-in-Mom’s-bag always has amazing possibilities! Once I found gum!
Love and licks,

Bags are like treasure chests for our dogs!
We do that if Mom leaves grocery bags on the floor, but not other bags. Cat bro Bert does stick his cat brain head into everything, though, and he also enjoys chewing on anything leather and ruining it in a very short amount of time which makes Mom really mad.
Hailey would stick her head in anything she thought may contain treats!
We call it a “customs inspection.”
Yes, definitely! That’s why instead of wrapping most of their Christmas presents in paper, I just wrap them in tissue paper, put them in a bag, and let them pull them all out!
Ha! That’s a rhetorical question, right? With a nose as big as Sam’s he sticks it into purses, bags, crotches…you name it. That nose drags that hound all over gawd’s green earth and gets him into all sorts trouble. I continue to pray we never encounter a skunk. Just saying. 🙂 Hope you survived a fabulous howliday. Onward to a right and furry 2016 with more tales about the tails in your woods. 😉
Make that “bright” and furry. Damn Siri hijacked me…again!
Ducky sure will – any place, any time!! Shadow is more patient these days, though I do occasionally have to remind her to be gentle when taking treats from my fingers.
This is so funny. Cocoa does the same thing. She has her head in the bags as soon as we walk in the door to find what is hers!!
Did she find anything good? LOL
Delilah should probably start earning her keep, TSA would benefit from having somedoggy to so thoroughly check things out.
Great article on dog with bag, very informative, thank you
