I’m going to try and make this a quick one, because ya’ll, it’s Christmas Eve and you should be spending it with your families, or at the very least be chained to the kitchen like me, preparing for tomorrow. 🙂
I love using the dogs for photo Christmas cards. My problem is I typically wait too long and then I’m left scrambling to pull something out at the last minute. Please tell me you do this too!
This year I was determined to change that, except I couldn’t find the prop I wanted to get the picture taken, so I ended up (once again) throwing something together.
Originally I was going to go with this one.
Then I thought, well you already used this picture for Thanksgiving, you’re kind of cheating your readers. So I found another photo which I absolutely loved (check back tomorrow in between your festivities for a quick peek,) and I got it all set and then was told the cards would print blurry. So it was back to square one.
Since neither dog wanted to cooperate in the same frame, I took two pictures and melded them together and came up with this.
I was so excited at the way the card came out that I took a picture with my phone (hence the grainy look) and sent it to Hubby. He responded with, “ROFL that’s awesome, but why does it say Anderson Family on it?”
Ooops, my bad. I was so excited about the card I forgot to change the name. 🙂
Regardless, that is the photo I went with. (After I fixed the name of course!)
Since tomorrow is Christmas and I expect you all to be spending time with your families, I will not have a FUF post for you. But I will have a picture post. 🙂
Now go, go enjoy time spent with your families and if you don’t celebrate Christmas Eve, I wish you all the blessings of whatever you celebrate.

Your card is so cute!! That sounds like something I would do, too! Get so excited over how cute it looks that I’d forget to change the name! 😀
I hope you have a wonderful holiday! See ya tomorrow! 😀

We’re getting together with the stepson and his family for a while and then spending a quiet night at home with Shadow and (Demonbrat) Ducky. in some ways I miss the family get-togethers of my childhood and youth; but I like the quiet too.
Merry Christmas My Friend!

The card is perfect! So you! And so THEM! Mom did my Christmas card so early that the box of cards had to sit on the counter for a couple of weeks before she could even send them out to be everyone’s first card of the season. Yeah. She’s that person…..
Love and licks and Merry Christmas,
Cupcake

I love both of them! You’re way ahead of me. I didn’t get anything together this year 🙁 Oh well. Wishing you and your family a very merry Christmas!

I wondered about the name too. The card came out great.

You had us baffled for a bit wondering how we never knew your name was Anderson! The card is ideal for you, love it! Happy Christmas Eve!

I did my pictures early this year, but that doesn’t always happen. Your card looks great, Mrs. Anderson.
I’ll be working in the kitchen today, too. Funny thing about the Christmas meal, large family or small (only a group of 5 here), it’s still the same huge amount of work. I’ve always wanted to go out to some fancy restaurant that does the whole turkey meal for you, but have yet to get my way 😉
Merry Christmas!

Cute card! We took our pictures for the card (it’s on my most recent blog post) over Thanksgiving, which we’ve done the last couple of years. Works okay – except when Thanksgiving is really late! Have a very merry Christmas!

That is such a wonderful card! I did like the first one too though…and you trusted most of us to have better memories than we actually have. 🙂
I’ve been baking all day…for the dogs and the humans (after a nice walk with Sheba in this crazy warm weather!). We’ll stop by to check out your picture tomorrow, but we won’t have a post. We put up our Christmas card today (which, yes, I just made this morning).
Merry Christmas Eve!!

Yes, Jodi…some of us are waaay behind in howliday preparations. If I finish stuff up over the weekend, at least I’ll have a good start on next year when I won’t have work and bastard bosses as my sole focus. 😉 Hope you had a marvy howliday. Ear scratches to the fur kids. 😉
