You make me smile (or laugh), the sweet, funny, loving things my dogs do on a daily basis that brings a smile to my face or a laugh to my lips.
Delilah, the way you somehow always wind up with drool on you when we go for a walk…
You make me smile.
Yeah, I don’t know how, but somehow she always has a streak of slime across her face. I just can’t help but smile.
Your turn, what do your dogs do that make you smile?
Monika says
Dog slobber is the best and adds to the whole mystique of being a dog. D-Dog wears her’s well. 🙂
Cupcake says
When I want to share Mom’s food, sometimes I drool down my chest and front legs. But no worries, later I lick it off.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Jan K says
LOL….how does she do that? It has to be running with wild abandon that causes the drool to wrap around their noses! 🙂
Lori says
When my dog carries his tire in his mouth, he looks so goofy I always smile.
Callie, Shadow, and Ducky's Mom says
Aw, love that smile! I think that “streak of slime” gives her a sassy look.
Jackie Bouchard says
What a cute pic! Rita almost never drools, unless steak or chicken is involved. One thing she does that makes me smile is how she always bats at things with her paws. Her BFF is a boxer, and I think she learned to use her paws like that from her pal. So cute and funny.
Emma says
Drool is the one thing Mom doesn’t miss about her last dog. She says it used to loop around and over her black fur just like in your photo. My sisters and I don’t normally drool, although Bailie will if forced to wait for food but it just runs out of her mouth and onto the ground like a faucet!
Lauren Miller (ZoePhee) says
She is so cute! How could anyone not love that face? 😀
Mary Ann says
Funny! How does she get her drool to slobber over her snout like that? Lila drools, but it just forms a puddle around her mouth. 🙂
Glennis says
A real slobber chops! She must shake her head a lot to spread it around so.
Elaine says
I think Delilah has mastered the drool slinging technique, lol! Does she ever get the foamy mouth phenomenon? That happens every once in awhile to Haley when she’s excited or maybe nervous. I haven’t quite figured out what triggers it, but it looks like she has rabies when it happens, haha!
2 Brown Dawgs says
LOL Thunder does the same thing.
Jenna,Mark “HuskyCrazed” Drady says
LOL!!! That was hilarious!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Blueberry's human says
It makes me smile (and also, gag a little) when I am sitting there eating something I plan on sharing with Blueberry and she sits there drooling and the box fan is on high and it blows her string of saliva onto my leg. Magical moments, I treasure them.
I am thinking you would excel at doing a post on “Would You Rather” – for instance: Would you rather pull poop out of your dog’s bottom or let your dog’s saliva fly into your face? Would you rather lick the inside of your dog’s ear or reuse a plate your dog just licked? Your turn – GO!
Jen Gabbard says
Maybe us “dog people” are just crazy because I find drool quite endearing as well.
Sand Spring Chesapeakes says
she must always be finding good yummy smells to make her drool
