I wanted to write a post for you today, I really did. I had a bunch of ideas in my head. Like how the trip went, how many awesome peeps I met and hung out with, how many doglebrities I met, how my dogs welcomed me home and how Delilah got into mischief with the goodies in my swag bag.
But my sleep deprived brain just isn’t working at the moment. So I’m simply going to send out BIG CONGRATULATIONS to our friends at the following blogs for their well deserved awards at BlogPaws.
Jen at My Brown Newfies and Me for Best Humor Blog.
Mel Freer at No Dog About It Blog for Best Written Blog Post (Loose Dog? Don’t Chase! Stop, Drop and Lie Down).
Jessica Williams at You Did What With Your Weiner for Best Blog Design.
Jen Gabbard at Puppy Leaks for Best New Pet Blog.
Jessica Williams at You Did What With Your Weiner for Best Dog Blog.
But I will share the most important thing I learned while I was in Nashville.
Are you ready?
Dill Pickle Chips are a thing. For real. They make dill pickle flavored potato chips and I may or may not be addicted to them.

Sounds like you all had a great time! Can’t wait to hear all about it! Hope you get some rest soon – and maybe more of those dill pickle flavoured chips that you might be addicted to 😉

Congratulations to all the winners! And I concur, dill pickle chips are delicious.

Sounds like dill pickle chips alone would make the trip worthwhile. All the other fun is just gravy. Mmmm….gravy…..
Love and licks,
Cupcake

My mom can’t stand dill or pickles, so we are safe. One less addiction I have to worry about with her. Our pigs ears from Miss Flea are long gone…didn’t even make it out of Nashville! Yummy stuff!

There were pickle chips?! How did I miss those?! We had a great time at BlogPaws but were sorry to have missed you. It’s crazy that in four whole days you can still miss out on connecting with some bloggers! It was hectic, but so much fun. Glad to hear you had a good time!

I’ve never heard of them but there are few junk foods that I am not addicted to.

I finally opened my dill chips last night. So good. Now to petition Herrs to bring theirs back.

Congrats to all the winners.
I admit I don’t love a dill pickle chip. I am a salt and vinegar or ketchup chip kinda girl (which may only be Canadian things).

Glad that you had a nice time.

It sounds like you had a good time.

Thanks for the shout out Jodi! I can only imagine how exhausted you are after such a fun trip. Wish I could have been there. Thank you for the lovely acceptance speech you gave on my behalf. I am so glad you were willing to do it.
Dill pickle chips? Doesn’t your face pucker up when you take a bite? 🙂
Jen Gabbard says
Thanks for the shot out; I’m so disappointed I wasn’t able to attend. I’ve been browsing (stalking everyone) all the photos and it looks like it was so much fun. While watching the live streams I kept finding myself squeeing everytime I saw someone I “knew” even though most of the time it was purely recognition of the pets first. And dill pickle chips? I don’t know about that level of crazy.

Congrats to all the winners! I’m sure I’d need a week (at least) to recover if I went to BP.
Dill pickle chips?? Did not know!
Monika says
And that’s why we love your blog–keeping it real! WTG and congrats to all the participants. Just next time, stop hogging the hog–it really needs to be shared with D-dog. 😉

I have had dill pickle chips here in New England. If you search hard enough you might find some!
