You make me smile (or laugh), the sweet, funny, loving things my dogs do on a daily basis that brings a smile to my face, or a laugh to my lips.

He’s a silly dog. Most times he ‘digs’ at the bowl, letting us know it’s empty, but lately he’s taken to just lying in front of it.
He sure makes me smile.

I rarely drink water, so Mom mixes some water in with my dry food. Then she fills my water bowl with spring water and dumps it out and refills it the next day and then dumps it out and refills it the next day and then dumps it out and refills it the next day….. She wants me to pay the Poland Spring bill. I need a job.

I’m usually pretty good about keeping the water bowls — we have two — full throughout the day. When I forget to fill her favorite one, though, Callie will drink out of the other one only if she’s REALLY thirsty. Otherwise she’ll walk away and wait for me to fill “her” bowl. Silly dog. Shadow and Ducky will drink out of either bowl — they don’t care.
Aw, Sampson, what a sweet face. Sam prefers one water bowl over the other one though I don’t know why-they’re both pretty much the same, except the favorite one is smaller. He will look over at the favorite bowl and then look back at me. Eventually I get the hint even though the other bowl is full. His look says, “Sheesh woman, fetch me some water and make it snappy.” Happy Mother’s Day. 🙂

I have a water bowl for B in the bedroom, kitchen, and back porch. Technically, the “bowl” in the porch is a plastic Easter egg bucket, but it’s her favorite to drink from.

Our golden retriever, Moses, used to pace in and out of the bathroom which is next to their water dish, when it needed to be filled. The others don’t do much, other than making a noisy production out of trying to drink from an empty bowl!
