You make me smile (or laugh), the sweet, funny, loving things my dogs do on a daily basis that brings a smile to my face, or a laugh to my lips.
Sampson and Delilah, the way you long for the park, despite the entrance being virtually impassable…
You make me smile.
Your turn, what endearing things do you pups do that make you smile or laugh?

No doubt about it, they just love going out in the park no matter what the weather!
My little Poppy is 15.5 years old now and still doing ok, except for a bit of arthritis in her hind legs. We have always let her lie on one particular chair in the lounge room but she can’t jump up onto it anymore. She looks round at us in the most endearing way, asking for a hitch up – which she gets of course! We can’t resist and now it has become a regular thing!

LOL that sure looks like a lot of snow in your park. Have a serene and easy Sunday.
Best wishes Molly

We dogs are always optimists. Never let a little 12 ft snow drift stand in the way…there must be something better on the other side.

I am so tired of this snow too

My sweet Kissy used to love our Saturday drives to Bear Mountain State Park in Rockland County (NY). I would pack up some water in a thermos, a spare water bowl, her harness and leash, and off we’d go. It was about an hour and a half from home, and sometimes she would need me to stop along the way. But as we got closer to the park, she would awaken from her nap and start watching out the windows of the car and then start whining as we pulled up to the entrance of the parking lot.

It’s just a little snowbank, Mom! 🙂

That first sight in the morning of Sam’s nose resting sweetly on the edge of the bed when I wake up and then feeling the tail wagging breeze are my absolute favorites. Then the head lying in the lap when I’m in the bathroom. Just can’t beat if, even if a little privacy would be nice some mornings. 🙂

What a sweet picture.
The last time we took the dogs to the mountains to play in snow, they looked like that. Until they stepped out of the car. Then they got back inside, curled up and slept.
Lauranne says
Aww bless them!!

That is a lot of snow to wade through. Up at the cabin there are “gas line” roads that lead to the pumps and the gas company plows them so at least we can walk those even when the snow is too deep in the forest.
