Sampson, when I walk into the bedroom and see you laying across my pillows….
You make me smile.
I know that you know that I will not move you. In fact, I will lift your head up and scootch myself underneath you to snuggle with you and I would lay like that all night long if you would too.
What do you do when you find your pet in your spot on the bed? Do you make them move or are you like me, willing to sacrifice a night’s sleep just to snuggle with a puppy?

Best wishes Molly
I’m not allowed on the bed till Mom says OK, so she always gets first choice of spots. But when I sit in her chair, she squeezes in next to me and complains it’s her chair and she can’t even be comfortable because of my bony little self all stretched out there. Then we snuggle together.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
I generally try to sleep around them, unless they are really in the way!
Katie doesn’t even sleep upstairs unless she is scared, I sleep in my bed on the floor next to Mom’s spot in bed but Bailie sleeps in bed. Mom finally caved. Bailie sleeps all snuggles with Mom and sometimes Mom gets a paw in the face, but she doesn’t care, she loves having a dog in bed to snuggle. The cats have adjusted too and now they all have a spot on or around Mom. She tried to get me to sleep in bed but after years of having my own bed, I like it that way.
So sweet. Almost makes you forgiver her for what she did last night. 🙂
Thankfully Torrey doesn’t get in our bed, and Roxy is pretty small when she is there.
sooooo sweet! I crawl in under them and snuggle with them too. Good luck on his dental cleaning on Tuesday. Don’t worry too much. All will be fine 🙂
As long as we are TOUCHING MOM… all is well.
Sweet! Sheba will keep my pillow warm until I come to bed. I try to just squeeze under her, but she usually gets up and moves!
It depends on whether there’s any room for me to slide into the bed or not. If she’s determined to be on my side of the bed, she’ll come back even if I make her move.
Lol…kayla does the same thing….when i open the light and see her…i go over and give her a hug..she used o sleep at the bottom…she has moved to lying across The pillows. Lol
Callie moves on her own so I don’t have to worry about it. Shadow likes to stretch out across the bed, so I HAVE TO move her to even get on the bed never mind under the covers. Ducky hasn’t earned bedroom privileges yet — she still likes to chew on EVERYTHING she can reach, no matter how many times we praise her for taking a toy instead. Must be the Retriever in her — Callie and Shadow were the same way at her age. 🙂
So cute! I sometimes wish my husband would allow the dogs on the bed. Then again, I’m not keen on all the dog hair my Maya would leave behind. Labs sure do shed!
I confess, I would move the dog. I know how badly I need my sleep, and if she’s hogging my spot, she gets shoved over! 🙂
So sweet. You are a far better dog owner than I!
Such a sweet pic

Sampson knows a good thing and how to keep warm in the winter. 🙂
Cuddling up to my dog is the favourite thing in the world!
You should be thrilled that we let you cuddle with us! :0p
Silas will make the bed down himself so that he can sleep on my pillow. But he moves when I get in bed. Thank goodness.
Well, Toby is the only one that sneaks up there (we have a no dogs on the bed rule) and when I catch him I chase him off (usually) although I do let him slide from time to time (as long as it isn’t bed time or I hear him digging) which is why the habit continues. LOL!
P.S. – I love the photo of Sampson. He looks so cozy!
