Welcome to this week’s edition of Follow-Up Friday, the blog hop that let’s you wrap up your week and leads you right into the weekend.
Joining me as co-hostess today is 2 Brown Dawgs Blog. If you haven’t yet met Thunder, Storm and Freighter, what are you waiting for? They’re awesome!
Thank you LInda for joining me.
Dawn said, “Fantastic follow up! I barely have enough time to read blogs, let alone comments.”
I’m with you there my friend. It’s so hard trying to write, read and comment. Sometimes I just can’t comment, but I hate not reading, you miss too many things!
You Make Me Smile – Star Wars Style
Roxy asked, “LOL…How does he do that?”
I wish I knew. His ears are frequently in strange positions.
Jackie asked, “Do you suppose they know their ears are bent all crazy but just don’t care?”
I’m not sure of that either! I know my mom will always say, “fix your ear.” Honestly I think it bothers her more than it bothers him. LOL
One Person’s View asked, “How did she get it out of the SINK?”
She stood on her hind legs, stuck her face in the sink and pulled it out. I am constantly catching her with her face in the sink! Sometimes she’s just lapping up dirty dishwater.
Basil asked, “Is it wrong that my only thought is well done for getting so far?!”
Hell no! I was proud of her for that too!! Once she actually pulled a GLASS bowl out of the sink and carried it into the living room. I swear I don’t know how she does it!
Blueberry’s Human said, “I am totally impressed! I’m telling you – you need to have some cameras around there to watch how she does these things!”
I think you’re right. People wouldn’t be watching the Pandas, they’d be watching Delilah!
2 Brown Dawgs asked, “Did you think I would get my panties in a wad?…lol.”
No. You and I are cool. You are very responsible with your dogs.
Jessica said, “I just wish people were more responsible with their pets. About everything, not just spay/neuter. Violating leash laws, not scooping, not training. All symptoms of the same problem.”
I agree. I just wish they took the time to educate themselves, that would go a long way.
Misty said, “sorry for the rant.”
Never apologize for being passionate about something on this blog. 🙂
Jackie said, ““How high, Delilah?” Hahahahaha. I can’t really see your mama saying that Delilah. But if you insist that that’s what you heard, then I’ll believe you.”
She made that shit up. I would never say that.
Animal Couriers said, “Good luck in shutting down that negligent vet. How on earth did they allow that?”
Oh I wish I knew! Sometimes I really wonder what the heck goes on in some people’s minds.
Emma asked, “So what do the stripes on those furry little guys mean?”
You know, I’m not sure Emma, but I’m going to ask the person who told me about it. I’ll get back to you!
That is a wrap for Follow-Up Friday. Thank you to 2 Brown Dawgs for co-hosting this week. Remember, if you’re interested in co-hosting Follow-Up Friday next week, let me know in the comments.
Have a great weekend!

Great follow up. I think you DO say, “How high, Delilah?”. We all know dogs call the shots on a walk…..
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Molly The Wally says
Yep we too call the shots over here and it is as it should be LOL. Have a fabulous Friday.
Best wishes Molly

Great FUF! When the brown bands on woolly worms are narrow, it means a harsh winter. The wider the brown band, the milder the winter will be. At least that’s what the local folklore says.

Thanks so much for having me as a hostess. You had some great posts this week. 🙂
I wish our doggies ears would get into crazy positions…lol.
Have a nice weekend.

Please post the url when you set up the “live Delilah cam”. It will be entertaining or sure! My mom is not a big reader of books, but now with all the blogs, that is her reading, no time left for books! It really is time consuming but we love it too.
Jessica @ Life with Duke says
Duke’s ears often get turned inside out and he never seems to realize. We tell him to fix his lip a lot though because he has a underbite so it gets stuck in his teeth. Glad to hear that others tell their dogs to fix themselves even though they never do!
So glad to join you today on the blog hop!
Pamela | Something Wagging This Way Comes says
Now that I’m fostering my very own chocolate lab, your Delilah stories are coming to life. And yes, my visiting friend pulls some amazing things out of the sink too.
I’m beginning to think those breed descriptions for labs aren’t nearly complete enough. 🙂
Roxy the traveling dog says
Love your follow up Fridays. That’s all I can say…LOL
Callie, Shadow, and Ducky's Mom says
Ducky amazes me with all the different ways she can position her ears! AND, I think if she were tall enough, she would be pulling things out of the sink, too! Thank goodness she isn’t! Crazy little demon dog I have here! <3
Oz the Terrier says
Oh dawg, Miss Jodi…I have missed a LOT around here while I was away. Thanks for the follow up to get me all caught up! I hope you have a great weekend!

“She made that shit up. I would never say that.”
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I don’t know why that made me laugh out loud, but it did. 🙂

I don’t know why humans are so reluctant to admit that they do ask “How high?” when the dog gives an order.

Love the ear 🙂 Have a good weekend!
Jackie Bouchard says
That is so funny about her getting stuff out of the sink. (Well, but only because I don’t live with her.) I have a friend with a Lab – grabbed a hot pan of brownies in a glass baking dish from the back of the stove and dragged it down. Ate a bunch of the hot brownies (luckily none of the glass!) before being busted. I’m sure you know to watch your brownies.
(I knew Delilah was lying about that statement!)

Great follow up to a great week! I would love to see the video of Delilah doing what she does. She really makes me want another lab (we had a lab mix years ago and she was special).
I actually kept pretty caught up with you this week! Usually I come in on Friday and have to go back and read the whole week. Now I’m behind on everything else though. 🙂
Donna says
I agree with you about worrying about missing out on stuff whenever I fall behind on the blog reading. Today I checked in on a blog that I hadn’t been to in a while and saw some very sad news. 🙁
It makes me want to try all the harder to get caught up, but sometimes you just can’t do it all.
Dogs N Pawz says
I have been terrible about keeping up with everyone’s blogs lately. I have missed so much:( Phe threw me for a loop, and I have started working again and just keeping up has been so hard. This new puppy is going to take up even more of my time but he is so cute! I had forgotten how much attention they need. We are so excited to have him!
Dawn says
I don’t want to miss anything from my favorite bloggers either. The Follow Up Fridays help. Great follow up. I’m still curious about those caterpillars. And I think we need more photos of Sampson’s ears. Too cute!!! 😀
Sand Spring Chesapeakes says
Great fuf. Have a wonderful weekend.
Kim - Life at Golden Pines says
I’ve decided why I enjoy reading this particular post so much, because your response always makes me want to go back and see what I’ve missed, which lately, has been a lot!
I hope you’re doing well, and enjoying your weekend!
Jessica@YouDidWhatWithYourWeiner says
I hate not reading my friend’s blogs too. I feel so disconnected and am sad that I don’t know what is going on with them. I have been nervous-breakdown busy these past couple of weeks but I am starting to dig myself out now….so here I am stopping by to say hi 🙂 I even have a blog post publishing tomorrow! Look at me go. Ha, ha.
