One of the big reasons I started this blog was for all the crazy, funny things my dogs do that bring a smile to my face or a laugh to my lips.
Sometimes it’s not easy to write a full blog post about it and sometimes I forget to share.
Some posts will be You Make Me Laugh and others will be You Make Me Smile, but they will all be the silly, sweet, funny things Sampson and Delilah do that help make crazy days just a little bit easier.
Feel free to share what your pet does to make you laugh/smile in the comments.
Sampson and Delilah, when you ran the fence line chasing the donkey, (who could have cared less) you make me laugh.

This video was taken on our recent vacation to the Llama farm (duh, I don’t have donkeys at my house.) It is not the post I wanted for today, but we continue to experience computer and electronic issues at Stone Manor. Please bear with me as I’m very far behind in blog reading and commenting.
Have you ever seen a donkey so nonchalant about dogs barking their fool heads off? Are your dogs silly enough to think they could scare a donkey?
Sound off in the comments.
Kim - Life at Golden Pines says
Great fun, isn’t it? But don’t you just have to wonder if the horses and donkey are secretly laughing at the dogs because they can’t get to them?!
Caren Gittleman says
I think your dogs actually wanted to PLAY with that donkey!
Not sure what Dakota would have done, would be interesting to find out!
Callie, Shadow, and Ducky's Mom says
I think Callie, Shadow and Ducky would all do exactly what Sampson and Delilah did, because that’s what they do every day with the dogs next door. It’s a game for the five of them. Actually, I think Ducky and Gatsby would have a blast playing together at daycare, if I could talk Tammy into bringing him down there one day a week.

I don’t think Cupcake would take on a donkey, but she did try to claw the iPad to death when she heard the barking. That’s as brave as she gets……

The donkey looked like he had a wisdom beyond his tender years and no desire to be social. Misty the alpha Poodle would have tried to make a connection with no barking.
Molly The Wally says
We too think it was playtime but sadly donkey was having none of it. We hope you have a serene Sunday and take some time out for some big easy today.
Best wishes Molly

That donkey was one cool cucumber!

Maybe you should get a donkey for the dogs…they seem to really like it! I think the donkey knew that the fence would keep him safe, funny how animals know that.
Donna says
Ha ha! Too cute. And you’re right…that donkey could CARE LESS.
“Whatever.”

LOL! This was like when my friend’s do Clover came for a visit. My dog Pierson so wanted to be a tough boy but Clover completely ignored him. It was so funny. He didn’t know what to do. 😀

I think Rita probably would think she could scare a donkey. But she would only be trying to scare it because she was so afraid of it. I don’t think she would enjoy meeting a donkey – but I sure would. They have the sweetest faces!

Ha ha ha! Well, you know we live in a really little, rural town. There are some girls who regularly ride their horses through town. Bunny is one of the tiniest Greyhounds I’ve ever met, and she is thoroughly and completely convinced that she can take one of those horses down if I would just take off the leash!

LOL I suspect the donkey has heard it all before. Sorry about the computer issues. No fun!
Blueberry's human says
Blueberry used to flatten herself whenever she’d see a horse if we were out hiking. But I guess being with me has given her too much confidence – now when we see horses – she often wants to chase after it. I’d hate to think what the outcome would be if she actually “caught” a horse. 😉
That donkey was definitely taunting your two – probably thinking “Bring it.”. Lol

I can’t believe they didn’t crawl under the fence. Hope your electronic issues clear up soon.
