My peace will end in about 15 minutes — when Sam is out of the shower, dressed, and ready to watch the news — so I’m trying to enjoy it as much as I can right now. Callie and Shadow are resting on the dog beds, and little demon dog is happily chewing away on one of the Nylabones. Just having my 3 fur kids around me is enough to make it a great day.
