Today we’re joining our friends at 2 Brown Dawgs Blog for This ‘N That Thursday. As she puts it, some days you have a little of this and a little of that but not enough for a full post.
Please feel free to gank grab the badge and join us.
As you know I’ve been tracking spring and really I have a whole bunch of neat pictures to share with you, I just think I need a few more days, but in the meantime I have this really large rhododendron bush in my back yard that I’ve been tracking.
We’re not the only ones enjoying the beauty of this plant, the Bumble Bees have been buzzing about gathering pollen.
Sadly, this bush took a wicked beating in one of our big snow storms.
I’ve also started tracking another bush in the yard and once that blooms I’ll put those pictures up as well.
This is the This ‘N That Thursday Blog Hop hosted by 2 Brown Dawgs. Hop along.

It’s gorgeous, Jodi! I really miss the one that my Dad planted between the driveway and front walk of the house I grew up in (and moved out of to come down here). It was a beauty, too. I can’t wait to see the next group of pix!

Beautiful bush you have there and the fact that outside my window I am seeing 3″ of new snow makes those photos all the better…some day I will too see flowering things outside my window.
Coralee says
Beautiful! Our magnolias and rhododendrons are still just buds – maybe next week!

Your rhoda is just gorgeous! I miss them. I love the size of it!

Love the time lapse – the rhododendron is one of the better shows at this time of year.

Just beautiful! We have flowers, but our rhodohendron is blooming yet…
Jessica says
Rhododendrons are so pretty! But they do kind of stink. I’m glad you don’t have it right up against the house.

You’ve given me an idea of what to plant in a bare place in my own yard. That is just gorgeous.
Elyse and Riley says
The bush is pretty! We tend to kill everything we plant somehow, so we don’t really have anything pretty in our yard.
Blueberry's human says
These are gorgeous!!
Btw – your response on my post cracked me up! I never even thought of the possibility of being in my underwear to use my outer clothes as a gurney for Blueberry! Although it’s a pretty good idea – it’s still funny! (But not the dogs getting hurt part, nothing funny bout that.)

Thanks so much for participating in TNT! Love the pictures of the tree. We finally have some blooms around here, but they are not as pretty as that. 🙂

Wow! So pretty! I’m waiting for ours to bloom but the way the weather has been acting I don’t know if they ever will!

Now that’s what I call Spring!
Pamela | Something Wagging This Way Comes says
Lovely. One of the fun things about driving to BlogPaws from up north will be watching spring move ahead at 55 mph. Sort of like your daily snapshots of your rhodo.
Donna says
Wow….what stunning flowers it has!
Carol Bondy says
Love the bee too…….beautiful bush…so big
Jackie Bouchard says

What a beautiful BIG bush. I didn’t realize they get that big. The one’s I tried to grow were all little. Beautiful petals on it also and nice pictures you took. I bet the bee’s do love it.

Beautiful! We can’t seem to stick with spring here. A few days of warm weather, flowers and shrubs blooming their hearts out, then winter returns! It is sleeting right now 🙁
