Most days I have a general idea what I intend to write about and if I don’t I’m generally inspired by something the dogs do. Today was not one of them. So rather than waste your time with a whole lot of nothing, I intend on making this short and sweet.
I do have some future posts in mind, but they are already planned out for specific days, Monday Mischief, Tasty Tuesday and tomorrow’s post will be about the Labs 4 Rescue event I’m attending later today.
I expect (and hope beyond hope) that the Dogs of Blogville Calendar post will be up next Thursday, so voting can begin. If anyone has any suggestions on a good voting process, I’d appreciate it if you left it in the comments, or sent me an e-mail at stone.jodi@ymail.com.
I was actually thinking of using the gallery feature from word press as well as a survey for voting. I need to put some research into how many choices a survey can have.
If you haven’t sent in your pictures yet, please remember to do so. You can send them to me at stone.jodi@ymail.com be sure to reference calendar contest in the subject line and include the name of the pet in the photograph and your blog name.
Pamela asked for a picture of Sampson and Delilah, a great photo with the two of them is difficult to capture. This photo is from just after Delilah joined us, it is one of mine and Hubby’s absolute favorites. (They are both much heavier in this photo than they are now.)
Have a great weekend.

It is tricky writing posts and timing them for specific blogs hops, believe me I know. As for voting I would see how many options the WP survey has, that would be the easiest for you I think. Have a fun Saturday!

That isn’t that far off! No doubt hard to pay attention with those two darlings looking on 😉

Great picture! Sounds like a interesting contest but no suggestions to give. I know how you feel… usually the collies inspire me but somedays it is tough to come up with something to write about. Trying new things to see how it will work…. for not having a topic for today you sure did great! 🙂

LOVE that photo! 😀

Everyone runs out of things to say once in a while. Tougher if you’re doing a post a day though! I take my hat off to bloggers who are able to make daily posts week in week out, even year in year out. That’s dedication and perseverance.

This photo TFA (too f**king adorable). And since it’s hard enough to capture one dog in a photo, kudos to you for capturing them both in such a great pose. And just sent you my calendar submissions!!!!

That is a great picture! This time of year I find myself grappling with ideas for posts. I have lots of them, but little time to type them up…haha.
