Our training center is about three weeks to a month shy of being ready for classes; so Thursday night obedience class was once again held outside.
Honestly, I think the dogs like it more. There is much more room to spread out and I think there is less personality clash then there is in a small enclosed area.
Look at these two Weimaraner’s, they made such a beautiful picture.
After class was over, Sara clipped Sampson and Delilah’s nails. Honestly I can do it myself, but Sara is much quicker at it. Besides I was waiting for the right opportunity to approach her about teaching a clicker class. 🙂
We were standing by Sara’s car when Delilah decided there was something of interest in Sara’s trunk.
Delilah began her investigation.
Apparently she was not satisfied with her position on the ground.
She climbed all the way into the trunk.
Yes my friends, that is my crazy lab in the trunk of a Honda, Accord.

LOL did Delilah find anything? Or maybe she has been watching too many episodes of Cops. 🙂
Great picture of the Weimaraners!
So did you talk to Sara about the clicker class?
No Delilah didn’t find anything! LOL we were joking that she was a drug sniffing dog and Sara said, the dopes in the front! 🙂
Yes, I did talk to her and she said YES! I can’t believe it. Now I have to train Delilah on the clicker so I can so others. 🙂 Yikes.
Yay, you’re doing the clicker class! I’m really looking forward to this! Too bad I’m nowhere near, or I’d sign up for your class (need to find the clicker I have, first, though… it is mysteriously vanished)… hopefully you’ll put some of your training on your blog, though 🙂
an outdoor class would help increase the amount of distraction available, too – far more interesting smells than a gymnasium has.
Well first and foremost, I need to train the dogs using the clicker! Then and only then will I teach the class, but it is definitely motivation for me. Thank you so mcuh for your enthusiasm and support!
I definitely like the outdoor training for the dogs comfort levels.
And yes, I will put some training on the blog.
Good luck with the class!
Hilarious pictures of Delilah
Thanks Patty, she cracks me up. 🙂
Wow that is fabulous Congrats Jodi! Let me know when & where & I will definitely consider bringing my naughty Shih Zhu to class if we can squeeze it in. Running out of this nice weather though!
Oh, and that Delilah is really a hoot!
Thanks for the support Kathy, I am excited for this new venture and look forward to sharing with you. 🙂
You need to send that picture to Honda. They could use it to advertise how roomy their trunks are. Just a thought.
Dude you rock! I never thought of that! I will contact them and see what they say! thank you Big Al!
