Happy Independence Day!!
Sampson, Delilah and I decided to celebrate our Independence Day with an early walk, before the heat of the day set it in.
Even though it was late morning, it still got a bit warm while we were walking, so after about 35 minutes we stopped for a water break and to just sit and enjoy the beauty of the day.
Sampson sat by my feet on the rock, while Delilah looked off to see if there was any activity in the field.
We hiked back through the trails and then headed home.
Of course no warm walk would be complete without Sampson taking a cooling off dip.
Kind of a skimpy pond, isn’t it?…lol. Seriously, another beautiful place to walk.
It is a little brook that runs alongside the field. When we have heavy rain it is full and bubbly, but it dries up quick. He just loves to lay in it.
